Heart Beat!

This morning was our monthly Doctor's appointment. Usual stuff was discussed, but this time we were told that we should be able to hear the baby's heart beat, so we were both very excited going into this one! She turned on this little machine that looks like a tiny beat box stereo with a microphone and moved it around Stacy's belly. You could hear a bunch of static as she moved it around and then there it was..... bump bump bump bump bump! We both expected it to be very fuzzy, but this was clear as day. She measured 142 beats per minute, which is perfect for this age. So there you go Sue, let us know what your scientific calculation comes up with. We both are expecting it to be a boy, but we won't really know until September!

Hope all is well with everyone!

  1. Hmmm...I'm going to say girl. According to my vast research -- well, 5 or 6 of my friends :o) -- girls' heart rates are generally faster than 130. I guess we'll see in September.
